La película no me gustó, aunque sí parte de su Banda Sonora ...Estudio 54 es una legendaria discoteca neoyorquina ubicada en la Calle 54 Oeste en Manhattan.
"Estudio", como se le llegó a llamar, estaba dentro de un viejo teatro; los balcones eran conocidos por los encuentros sexuales, y el uso de las drogas era ilimitado. Su pista de baile estaba decorada con una imagen de una Luna con cara de hombre, el cual inhalaba coca.
En sus mejores días tuvo un papel formativo en el crecimiento de la música disco y la cultura de los clubes nocturnos en general, y fue uno de los primeros en borrar la distinción entre vida nocturna "homosexual" y "heterosexual".
